The IAA Livestock department was founded in 2020, but with a team that has over 35 years of experience. The added value of the IAA Livestock team, is the wealth of experience that they have gained while being active in the transportation of live animals. This ensures that your live animals are handled with utmost professionalism.

Our slogan is “we care for your animals”. Whether it’s your Chihuahua, which needs to be exported to your new home county, or 120,000 day-old chicks for a farm in Africa; we will provide equal care for all shipments. We will listen to your requirements and provide tailor-made service accordingly.

We can also guide you through the jungle of regulations for sending your live animal(s), since we are LAR certificated and have experience with the various veterinary policies and restrictions.

My name is Erik Pos. Since 1987, my focus has been on the import and export of live animals by air. Throughout the years, a lot of different animals have been handled by me and my team. From the tiniest insects, to large Zoo animals. All have been handled with the greatest care possible in order to provide a comfortable journey. As per 01 January 2020, I joined the IAA team. In my opinion, IAA provides a more flexible working environment where the client’s cargo is absolute priority number one. I find my job very interesting, even after the 30+ years of experience. In particular, finding solutions for the special demands from our customers, are challenges I enjoy carrying out. Working with live animals is not a 9 to 5 job, and we work 24/7 in order to provide the best care. The key points are speed and safety as a journey could be stressful. I am proud to lead our fulltime Live Animal department and am looking forward to handle your animals.
